Rhyme for Nature is a Song and Slam Poetry contest
for talented young artists in Southeast Asia to show their performances about how their faith inspires and guides people to create environmental resilience, ecosystem health,
thriving biodiversity.
More than 77% of people in Southeast Asia drive their individual behaviors based on spiritual values. Religious and cultural beliefs dictate most of the communities' cultural values, social inclusion, political engagement, and economic prosperity.
Art is the perfect tool for social change. Through music and poetry, people can convey important messages to others in the hope that they will truly listen and, as a result, come together and bring about social, political, and economic change.
We encourage people to shed light on how faith support constructive actions on environmental resilience, highlight crucial spiritual tenets that guide ones’ climate advocacy and give an ode to impactful faith leaders on climate preservations.
